Hello my name is Joanne Retalis. I attended Brooklyn College where I received my bachelor’s degree in Film Production with a minor in Philosophy. I’m passionate about all things story-telling, film-making, photography. 

I work as a freelancer in the film industry taking on multiple roles such as Camera Operator, Assistant Camera, BTS Videographer, DIT, Producer, Office PA on feature films, commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, and social media content.

I have worked in collaboration with numerous production companies for clients such as Apollo Theater, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Loreal, Maybelline, Netflix, Hulu, and more…

I have completed the Made in NY Post Production Program where I learned multiple editing softwares such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Nuke, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
